Sometimes at Willow Springs, we are blessed with impromptu visits of visionaries. Tonight we were blessed to host that inscrutable lep-rock-on, Obo Martin. Up for the upcoming Circus in Flanigan’s Meadow, he brings a wacky playfulness that I envy, admire, and resist almost simultaneously. Obo represents a wide-ranging spectrum of humanity. He is tapped into a source that inspires his indubitably original lyricism. I am trying to cajole him into crashing the Living Skills gig on June 26. But with Obo, plan is a four-letter word. Better to be surprised anyway.

Happy Memorial Day everyone. I would first like to send my blessings to the families of all the warriors out there that have made the choice to fight and sacrifice life for something greater than themselves. You will all be missed.
I am really excited for the incredible month that awaits Willow Springs. On Thursday, June 10th, we begin a series of Crepe Nites with Isabelle here after a wonderful winter and spring at the Barn. The final one will be to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Monday, June 21st.
On June 13th, at the yo’garage we’re going to have our first monthly DrumDance with my great friend, Richard Parissi. In the DrumDance Journey, everyone has the option to move or drum to their inner beat of the divine collective. Many dimensions of consciousness will be explored. No experience is needed, all experience is welcome. Bring your drums and percussive instruments to play and share.
And we’ll close out the month with the Cob Building Workshop on June 25 and 26, and the Living Skills Day on June 26.
